About Me

Dr. Bin Hoang is an Orange County local who loves the beach and the Los Angeles Lakers. How did he become an OC local? Dr. Hoang's life story begins in Vietnam where he was born only a few weeks before communist took over. The country was in chaos and his family only had one option, flee for freedom and a new beginning with all cost.

Dr. Hoang was only three years old when his parents carried him onto a fishing vessel to set sail on a long journey towards freedom. Since three years old, he has been taught to never take life and freedom for granted.

Earning top ten rankings in his class in high school (Trabuco Hills High School), he earned scholarships and grants to the University of California at San Diego where he later received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry and Cellular Biology and a minor in Philosophy. He spent his next four years in the east coast where he attended the University of Maryland, Baltimore College of Dental Surgery, the first university based dental school in the world.

As a young dentist, Dr. Hoang was very fortunate to earn an associateship with one of the "gurus" of dentistry. He worked in Cerritos, for Dr. Robert Gregg who is the inventor of the Periolase Dental Laser. Dr. Gregg lectures and teaches other dentists around the world on his techniques and protocols to fight gum disease by the use of Laser Therapy. Dr. Gregg took Dr. Hoang under his wings to teach the intricacies of dentistry. After being taught by one of the best in dentistry, Dr. Hoang was confident in pursuing his own dream of opening his own practice.

Dr. Hoang is an avid student of the dental field. He goes beyond staying up-to-date with new techniques and procedures because he loves learning the art of dentistry. He's earned way beyond the normal 50 CE units per 2 years. In the past 2 years, Dr. Hoang has taken more than 250 hours of CE courses on all aspects of dentistry.

Dr. Bin Hoang is extremely happy to be part of the San Clemente community. He is dedicated to use his experience and knowledge to give personalized dental care to every patient .
